The monitoring results indicated a decrease in minimum prices compared to the previous month for 10 items.
Specifically, a price drop of 21.8% was recorded for table beets. Lemons decreased by 16.7%, red carrots by 14.4%, buckwheat by 10.7%, sugar by 2.8%, rice by 2.8%, milk by 2.8%, bananas by 2.0%, beef (fillet) by 1.7%, and wheat flour by 0.6%.
At the same time, IMRI experts noted an increase in minimum prices for 10 items. The leading price increase was observed for white cabbage. Furthermore, the price of white cabbage in Tashkent is the lowest among the capitals of Central Asian countries. For instance, in Dushanbe, the price for this product is twice as high, in Astana it is 1.7 times higher, and in Bishkek it is 1.2 times higher.
Prices for cucumbers have also risen significantly. However, compared to the same period last year, cucumber prices are 4.3% lower.
For 1 item (margarine), the minimum price remained unchanged.
