Masdar will build a 1,000 MW wind power plant in Uzbekistan.

During the construction of the station, between 600 and 800 new jobs will be created. The implementation of the project will enable the annual production of 3.5 billion kWh of electricity, which will save 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

The project is significant not only from an economic perspective but also for environmental protection.

The construction of this wind power plant will reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere by 1.4 million tons per year.

This project marks a new phase in the collaboration between the two countries, ensuring energy security for Uzbekistan, creating new job opportunities, and promoting economic growth.

Alongside the UAE's initiative for the “Triple Increase in Renewable Energy Capacity” project, Uzbekistan will participate in global efforts to combat climate change.

In turn, Uzbekistan supports the goals of the Paris Agreement and aims to enhance global cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
