In November, the Central Bank's supervisory committee held 9 meetings during which 32 issues were reviewed, leading to corresponding decisions. Out of these, 19 questions focused on the financial condition of credit institutions, particularly their compliance with the prudential standards set by the Central Bank.
Warnings regarding the application of measures and sanctions were issued to 22 banks and 3 payment organizations. This was due to violations identified during examinations of commercial banks, microfinance institutions, and payment organizations.
As previously mentioned, due to non-compliance with existing legislation and established economic norms set by the regulator, as well as violations discovered during inspections and audits, 8 banks, 7 payment organizations, and 12 microfinance institutions faced punitive sanctions.
Additionally, by the committee's decision, 7 banks have been designated as systemically important for the year 2025.
