Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are set to collaborate on a space project, joining forces to advance their ambitions in the field of space exploration.

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are in talks to establish a national remote sensing space system, according to the press service of the space agency "Azercosmos".

The discussions took place during the International Astronautical Congress held in Milan. During the event, recommendations and mutually beneficial proposals for the project were presented.

It has been reported that Azerbaijan aims to create a space ecosystem within the country. The first step towards this goal was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Azercosmos and the Chinese technology company Star Vision this summer.

The main focus of the collaboration will be the joint development and implementation of algorithms for satellite and orbital testing using artificial intelligence technologies proposed by Star Vision.
