Experts from the toxicological control laboratories in Kyrgyzstan have identified mineral fertilizers from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan that do not meet GOST standards, reported the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Industry of the KR.
Standard violations were found in two samples of phosphorus fertilizers from the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, four more substandard samples of phosphorus and nitrate fertilizers were detected by the staff of the central laboratory in Bishkek.
It was later determined that the fertilizers were illegally imported into the territory of the KR from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Warnings were issued to the owners of the fertilizers.
