In Tashkent, dyed oranges have been spotted for sale. A post with this complaint was shared in the consumer community for goods and services in Uzbekistan, "Consumer.Uz."
According to the photo, the buyer's fingers were slightly stained orange. Thus, the skin of these oranges leaves paint marks on hands.
It has been reported that producers deliberately dye the oranges in bright colors to enhance their appeal. Experts note that oranges with naturally light or yellowish skin are safer and more "honest" than their brightly orange counterparts.
