In Uzbekistan, the number of pensioners has been revealed.

In Uzbekistan, information has been shared regarding the number of registered pensioners in the country. The statistics were published by the Pension Fund of the Republic.

According to the data, there are 4,096,500 pensioners in the Republic. These figures were recorded as of December 1 of the current year.

It is important to note that the number of citizens receiving old-age pensions stands at 3 million 390 thousand individuals. Nearly 464 thousand citizens receive disability pensions. More than 242 thousand citizens receive pensions due to the loss of a breadwinner.

The highest number of pensioners is registered in the Fergana region – 484 thousand individuals. The least number of pensioners is in the Syrdarya region – over 104 thousand citizens. In Tashkent, pensions are disbursed to more than 372 thousand citizens.
