In Fergana, a decision has been made to shut down the gas station where a powerful explosion occurred on December 17, claiming the lives of four individuals. This information was reported by the press service of the regional emergency management department (UChS).
The decision was initiated by the gas station owner. This station will no longer operate in the future. According to UChS, the tragedy was caused by serious violations of technological processes and safety requirements during the discharge of liquefied gas. As a result of the explosion, in addition to the fatalities, eight other individuals were injured and are currently under medical supervision.
Local residents have expressed concerns regarding the safety of other gas stations in the region. Authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure that such tragedies do not occur again. Following the explosion in Fergana region, an inspection of all types of gas stations (AZS) has commenced, including automotive gas filling compressor stations (AGKS) and automotive gas filling stations (AGTS).
