A boxer from Uzbekistan scored a knockout victory over a Mexican opponent, earning the interim WBA title.
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, during a boxing event in Monte Carlo (Monaco), Uzbek fighter Murodjon Ahmadaliev claimed the WBA title by knocking out his Mexican opponent, reports Podrobno.uz correspondent.

Murodjon Akhmadaliev's victory over Mexican Ricardo Espinosa in the match held in Monte Carlo earned him the vacant WBA championship title in the super bantamweight division.
The bout was scheduled for 12 rounds but concluded in the third round when Akhmadaliev knocked his opponent down three times, prompting the referee to stop the fight.
For the boxer from Uzbekistan, this marks his 13th win in the professional ring, with one loss and 10 of those victories coming by way of knockout. Espinosa suffered his fifth defeat in his career, having previously secured 30 wins.
